Getting Started
Licences, restores, and first-time setup
All purchases are tied to your Apple ID, not your device. To restore:
- Open the app and find Restore Purchases in Settings or the main menu.
- Sign in with the same Apple ID used during the original purchase.
- Your licence unlocks instantly at no charge.
Refunds go through Apple, not us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, find the purchase, and select Request a Refund. Apple typically responds within 48 hours.
Yes — one purchase covers every device signed into the same Apple ID: iPhone, iPad, and compatible Macs. Family Sharing is also supported, letting up to five family members access the app at no extra cost.
On iOS/iPadOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → find the app → Cancel Subscription. On Mac: open the App Store, click your name, then Manage Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.

Crashes, updates, and connectivity
- Force-quit and relaunch — swipe up from the bottom (or double-press Home) and swipe the app away.
- Restart your device — clears temporary system state.
- Check for an update — App Store → your profile → pull to refresh.
- Reinstall — delete and re-download; your purchase restores automatically.
Open the App Store, tap your profile picture (top-right), scroll down to available updates, and tap Update. Enable Automatic Updates in Settings → App Store to stay current automatically.
- Check your internet connection — try toggling between Wi-Fi and cellular.
- Go to Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases, sign out, then back in.
- Check Apple System Status for any ongoing App Store outages.
- Restart your device and try again.
Requirements vary by app and are listed under Information → Compatibility on each app's App Store page. In general: keeping iOS up to date gives you the best experience and access to the latest features.

Apple ID, new hardware, and access
No — sign into your new device with the same Apple ID and re-download any app you've purchased completely free. Open the App Store, search for the app, and tap the cloud icon.
This almost always means you're signed into a different Apple ID than the one used to purchase. Go to Settings → [your name] to confirm your account, then use Restore Purchases inside the app. If you have multiple Apple IDs, sign into the App Store with the correct one first.
Currently all jetlagged.app apps are iOS and macOS only. We have no Android or Windows versions planned at this time — though we appreciate the interest. Let us know if this matters to you.

No. Our apps are completely ad-free. We charge a fair one-time price because we believe the cockpit is no place for pop-ups.
